What You Can Expect From Me
► I will send you by email a workup for each lesson.  The study material comes from our text, The Sense-ible Writer. I will work with you one-on-one until you understand the concepts taught in each session.

► I reinforce those concepts with specific examples from the required reading of the novels A Cobweb on the Soul and Echoes of Silence.

► At the end of each lesson I provide exercises where you put into practice what you have learned.

► I provide gentle guidance as you fine-tune your skills.

Some of the skills you will learn as we work together to perfect your writing talent:
    ► chose an idea for your novel,
    ► create a premise statement,
    ► expand your idea into a solid structure that won't wimp out in the middle,
    ► create your characters,
    ► learn how to control point of view.
    ► flesh out your story,

One additional Note:  These classes are designed so that you work at your own pace, and from experience I have a good feel for the amount of time normally required to complete each assignment.  It may take you a different amount of time, but regardless, I'll be there to answer questions and provide guidance and support.  I'll read every completed assignment you send to me, provide a gentle critique of your work, and suggest ideas you might use to improve your writing.
